Schlumberger Completes Acquisition of SPT Group

Schlumberger closed the acquisition of SPT Group with the necessary regulatory approvals, April 26, 2012. The dynamic modeling and reservoir optimization software and services complement the existing Schlumberger production software portfolio.
SPT Group will remain an entity within Schlumberger. In combination with the Petrel* E&P software platform and other Schlumberger software technologies, SPT Group will enable customers to further optimize production from reservoir performance to processing facilities.
